The Spex Manta Classic brings together two of Spex Seating’s most loved back support designs: the sleek, wraparound shape of the Spex Manta and the cube contouring capabilities of the Spex Classic.

On the inside are built-in lateral trunk supports, a pressure-relieving foam inner and the ability to contour on the spot. On the outside, a soft, breathable cover hugs the whole back support, offering comfort and support to the user.

Adjustable Cube Contouring
Add or remove cubes while the user remains seated. Simply unzip the cover from the top to access the contouring system.

Cube Anchor System
Prevents shifting or slipping of cubes during transfer.

Wing Cube Pockets
Contouring cubes for the lateral wings are included in the box and can be added as needed.

Extended Lateral Hardware
Maintains the Manta’s signature shape, even with built-up contouring.

Pressure-Relieving Inner Overlay
Gives the user maximum comfort.

Neoprene Lateral Covers
Lateral trunk support covers are made from soft neoprene, ensuring comfort during self propulsion.

Integrated Harness Retainer
A discreet fabric loop at the top of the back support helps keep anterior trunk supports tidy and in place (please note this is not intended for clinical positioning – for this purpose, please add Spex Harness Guides).

Easy-to-remove Cover
Redesigned with a zipper that runs around the entire rear edge of the back support, making it simple to remove for washing and to replace the foam insert afterwards.

Swing-Away Lateral Option
The option to have Swing-Away laterals enables easier transfers.
