With it’s two new advanced innovations (patent pending) and lightweight construction, the new Action5 gives individuals a chair they can enjoy and rely on. Key features include:

Unique folding mechanism
■ The innovative design of the chair allows the frame to greatly reduce in size and the backrest to fold on top of the seat, making the chair compact.
■ No additional handling is required to fold the chair, making it effortless for storage and transportation.

All the Stability of a rigid chair
■ The ‘H-Shaped’ horizontal folding mechanism (patent pending) provides an improved level of stability compared to other folding chairs on the market.
■ The self-locking function ensures a secure seat position and makes the chair far easier to propel effectively improving drive performance.

Adjust the chair whilst the individual remains seated
■ Our unique, clever design allows backrest angle adjustments to be made whilst the person remains in the chair (patent pending).
■ The step-less adjustability makes assessments and fittings both quick and easy to ensure the perfect fit for individuals.
■ The built in scale allows for a more accurate backrest angle to be set for postural comfort.

Make it personal
■ There are a variety of vibrant colours available to choose from, allowing individuals to design the chair around their personality.
■The Action5 can also be configured depending on individual needs, starting from selecting a more active look with the fixed frame, or the swing away version for even easier folding and transportation.
■The Action5 is cross compatible with other Invacare products including the Alber power add on range.

CONFIGURABILITY
A) Tension and depth adjustable seat
Adjustments can be made via easy to use straps.
B) Centre of gravity
100mm centre of gravity adjustments can be made in 25mm increments which can even be fine-tuned to 12mm.
C) Camber
Standard adjustments of 0-2° available with the option of 3 & 4° adjustments if required.

LEGREST OPTIONS
D) Swing away legrests
Allows the legrests to swing either inwards or outwards.
E) Fixed front
An 80° fixed front frame is available for individuals who are more independent.
F) Selection of legrest options
Choose from 70, 80 or 90° legrests, elevating legrests, or an amputee support.

ACCESSORIES
G) Backrest cover
Includes a backrest pocket and reflective strip for better visibility.
H) Active anti-tipper
Can be operated by both the individual and the carer for additional support.
I) Front wheels
A selection of wheels are available from 4” to 7”, including the stylish aluminium soft roll option.

SWING AWAY AND REMOVABLE ARMREST

ARMRESTS
A) Mudguard
The stylish mudguards are lightweight keeping the overall weight of the wheelchair to a minimum.
B) Conventional height adjustable armrest
Depth adjustable by sliding on the seat rail.
C) Hemi-armrest
This optional armrest provides additional comfort for the individual with its height, depth and angle adjustability.

SWING AWAY & REMOVABLE ARMREST
D) Swing away and removable armrest
Easily accessible and can be flipped backwards to assist with transfers.
E) Height adjustment
Simple push button providing easy adjustment.
F) Release lever
Even with limited hand function, the armrest can easily be released and flipped backwards.
G) Flip back position
A simple screw setting allows the position of the armrest to be fixed for easy access when flipped backwards.
H) Reversible armpad
The position of the armrest can be easily reversed providing a short and long armpad in one.
