The Vicair Flex Back consists of 13 individual with SmartCells filled compartments that make it an ideal choice for positioning and pressure redistribution. With 2 compartments that provide extra support around the shoulders, a central compartment that allows you to offload the spinal cord, 4 middle compartments for the support of the lumbar/thoracle extension, 4 side compartments for total immersion and 2 bottom compartments for sacral support. The SmartCell technology ensures that the Vicair Flex Back is a pressure-redistributing and stable back cushion that follows the body contours. The back cushion is ready for use right out of the box, but for specific positioning needs the filling of each compartment can easily be adjusted. The Vicair Flex Back is designed to suit Invacare wheelchairs with and without a tilt function and adjustable seat depth.
