Swing-Away Knee Supports

Designed for independence

Our light, swing-away knee supports designed for optimal fit and comfort to individual needs alongside flexible on-chair storage. Each knee support weighs only 500g, making this option 75% lighter that the traditional one-piece single-post knee support.

Our swing-away knee supports can be moved and handled independently using the easy to reach release mechanism even with limited hand function. With two pad sizes, choose the option that best matches the user and easily fine tune the pad placement as needed with the integrated BOA® dial* for optimal fit and comfort to individual needs.

*BOA® Fit System delivers micro-adjustable, precision fit in a simple to use dial.

Corpus® Seating System

Improved comfort, pelvic positioning, lateral stability and immersion are all key objectives of the Corpus seat. The Corpus cushions feature softer two-layer foam on the backrest, a re-designed pelvic well and Stretch-Air™ cushion fabric. Combined with BodyNatural, the Permobil Corpus seat is the ultimate seat system for power chair users up to 150 kgs, whether they require power functions or not.

Independent Repositioning Mode & Memory Seating
Power positioning is further enhanced with programmable memory seat positions and the exclusive Independent Repositioning Mode (IRM). IRM enables automatic sequencing of tilt, leg elevation and recline promoting maximum benefit of pressure relief protocols without loss of positioning.

Enhanced Power Recline
Corpus integrated power recline provides up to 180 degrees full range, smooth, safe power recline for users up to 136 kg. Featuring over 13 cm of seamless mechanical sheer reduction and a 2 x stronger recline actuator with quieter operation and locking nut protection for increased safety.
