The new E2 Back Support is our latest innovation in seating, offering maximum postural support for those with reduced mobility. With a pin assembly function for effortless mounting, the E2 Back Support is also available in a wider range of widths and heights to ensure maximum fit. The new leading edge Ripple Foam technology provides temperature control and enhanced immersion for the most comfortable support ever.

Ergonomic Design

The new ergonomic design increases support and pressure distribution to ensure a more precise and comfortable fit. The design has been contoured to support the pelvis and allow clearance of the hips to increase stability and balance.

Ripple Foam Technology

The rippled foam surface increases airflow for breathability, temperature control and moisture reduction. The high resilience foam provides the spinal relief area with enhanced immersion and shear reduction.

Mounting Pin Assembly

The back supports are mounted onto the chair and secured with an easy adjust mounting pin assembly. The flexible hardware is designed to match the needs of a range of body shapes and sizes, and can even be adjusted when the user is seated. It can also be positioned to avoid frame obstacles – such as arm supports and rigidiser bars etc.

Mounting Pins

• Height and width adjustable
• Fits chairs same as model width or 2.5cm wider / narrower
• Back height can be adjusted even with user seated in back
• Hardware can be positioned to avoid frame obstacles like arm supports and rigidiser bards
• MiniSet interface standard on back heights up to 41cm, EasySet interface standard on 46/51cm back heights

Easy Fix Laterals

• Fixed laterals can be installed inside or outside of the back shell

• Compatible with E2 backs 26cm and higher, offset with backs 31cm and higher

BackBone

Sacro lumbar support targets pelvis to promote an upright posture.

• Contoured anatomical PSIS/ Sacro lumbar Support.
• Can be trimmed to desired size.
• Molded in loop fastener for attachment to back shell and ease of adjustment.

Matrx Protect Slip Cover

To protect the backrest. Can be wiped clean with approved disinfectant wipes for greater hygiene. Easy to apply and remove for laundering.

PostureFlex Abdominal Support

Designed to increase intraabdominal pressure for enhanced voice and breath control. Provides comfortable upright postural support with flexible stretch for functional activities.

Easy keyhole attachment

• 3 mounting heights available in pre-drilled holes on back shell.

Headrest Interface Plate

Lightweight and low profile headrest attachment plate can be installed without cover removal. Included with all backs 36cm and higher.
